CHRISTOPHER LOCKE
Christopher Locke is a Senior Automotive Buyer in the Power-train Purchasing Division of the International Procurement Services group of DaimlerChrysler Corporation. His office is located at the DaimlerChrysler World Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Mr. Locke buys the engine assembly lines and other major capital equipment for Chrysler's North American power-train facilities. He is also commercially responsible for the Hemi engine upgrade projects. Mr. Locke has been employed in the automotive and industrial environment since 1977. He has extensive experience in manufacturing and plant production, as well as engineering and design. He is an active member of the American Purchasing Society and the Institute for Supply Management. Mr. Locke has a Masters of Science Degree from Central Michigan University. He is also a university instructor, teaching manufacturing courses part-time for Central Michigan University in the Metro-Detroit area.
