CHRISTOPHER LOCKE
Christopher Locke is a Senior Powertrain Buyer for one of the Big Three automotive companies and has purchased nearly a billion dollars worth
of products and services in his years in purchasing. Mr. Locke has been employed in the automotive and industrial environment since 1977, both on the supply-side and the client-side of the business. In addition to purchasing, he has extensive experience in design and engineering, project management and in-plant manufacturing and assembly. His global purchasing responsibilities have required him to visit suppliers and manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe and Mexico. He is an active member of theAmerican Purchasing Society and the Institute for Supply Management. Mr.Locke holds a Masters of Science Degree from Central Michigan University. He is also a part-time university instructor teaching manufacturing courses for undergraduate students for Central Michigan University's
Vehicle Design Program in the Metro-Detroit area.
